February 11, 2020 started out like any other day. 5 year old Meghan had a tonsil infection and was feeling a little under the weather. She woke up and had a bleeding nose and was very pale. Her bleeding nose wouldn't stop so her father, Mark, took her into the doctor. After blood tests came back abnormal, Meghan was rushed to Calgary where she was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Meghan is little girl with a zest for life. She has a larger than life personality, loves playing with her friends, dressing up as princesses or superheros. She loves animals, especially her dog Treasure.
It is every parents worst nightmare to have a sick child. We are fundraising to help Sue and Mark with financial costs of having to stay in Calgary while Meghan has treatment. Come on out and help support a great cause, and have some good laughs, and some good food!
