Coming from an improv and sketch background, Amanda ventured out into the stand-up comedy scene in 2007. Since then, she has multiple comedy festivals under her belt including Just For Laughs, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, JFL42, NXNE, The Women In Comedy Festival and Sled Island.

Most recently, Amanda won Best Female Stand Up in NOW magazine’s Best Of T.O. Reader’s Choice Awards and was one of the 42 headline acts at JFL42 in Toronto. In July of 2016 she released her debut comedy album “AKA Randy” which hit #1 on the Canadian Comedy iTunes charts.

Amanda has written for Hulu, Netflix, City TV, CTV, CMT and CBC and has worked alongside The Kids in the Hall, Jay Baruchel and SCTV’s Catherine O’Hara. In 2016 she moderated for the critically acclaimed Trump VS. Bernie at The Opera House in Toronto and has been featured on Andy Kindler's Alternative Show.

Despite all of these EARTH SHATTERING credits, her proudest achievement to date is moving out of her parents’ house before her older brother did.

She currently lives in Los Angeles.

Christina Walkinshaw is a Vancouver born stand up comic now living in LA who has made an impact in a relatively short career.

Her half-hour Comedy Now special often repeats in the middle of the night on CTV and the Comedy Network, while you’re sleeping.

She was nominated for Best Female Stand Up Comic in the 2012 and 2014 Canadian Comedy Awards. (She was working on new material in 2013.)

You can catch her on CBC’s The Debaters, and check out her popular blogs, My Week on Tinder and Resisting Marriage at walkinsauce.tumblr.com. (Which have also been featured in the Huffington Post.)

She’s appeared at The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, JFL42, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Vancouver Comedy Festival, Glasgow Comedy Festival, and has also entertained troops in Korea. (South, obvi.)

In February 2014 she graced the cover of Toronto’s entertainment magazine, NOW Weekly, also contributing a powerful article on embracing the single life. In general, she chooses to avoid mushrooms and marriage.
